Great Northamptonshire Activity Week

Northamptonshire County Scouts are planning a week long Jamboree event for Scouts and Guides in 2013.

The dates are 27th July until 3rd August 2013

The venue is Overstone Park, the same venue as County Cub Camp, where Beaveree and Grizzly PAW have been held over the last few years.

We will also be using Northampton District’s, Overstone Scout Camp Site.

The Chairman of the GNAWJam Committee is Karen Law.

This is a week long Jamboree for Scouts and Explorer Scouts, with Northamptonshire Guides joining us for the event.

Beaver Scouts and Cub Scouts will all be given the opportunity to be day visitors, so that they can take a glimpse of what the Scout and Explorer Scout Sections have to offer them as they progress through the Sections.

There will be an exciting variety of activities both on and off site, including climbing,archery,shooting, It’s a Knockout, back to basics, challenges, creative activities, water activities, and much much more.

Districts will camp together in sub camps.

The costs will be announced soon, but be assured that this will be competitive with other Jamboree style events.
