Daventry District Scout pioneering camp 2015

For this years pioneering camp, the Scouts, for their main project, had to build a half size replica of the Wright Flyer in about 8 hours using only the normal knots and lashings used in pioneering. All the wood and rope used was scaled down to keep it looking to scale.

They were supported by members of the Daventry District Scout Recon Active support.

Their  pioneering Badges were presented to them by Tony Keay, our County Commissioner.
